Do you provide self-drive rental?
Yes, BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours provides self-drive rental as long as you have a passport and a driver’s license (with English translation). For local renters in the absence of a passport, at least two government IDs must be presented.
What are your requirements for self-drive?
1. Valid Driver’s License
2. Two Valid Government Issued ID (Philippine Resident), Passport (Foreign Resident) with arrival stamp of not more than 90 days.
3. Full rental payment in cash upon delivery/pick-up. If you prefer to pay using credit card or PayPal, you need to pay prior to your rental date.
4. PHP 5,000 Security Deposit. You will provide this when you get the car. This will be given back to you in full upon returning the car and there are no damages.
Can I specify the year model and color of the car?
Due to availability, a specific model including but not limited to vehicle variant, year model, grade, and color cannot be specified.
Are all cars equipped with a GPS navigation system?
Some vehicles do not have a GPS. If you wish to use a vehicle with a GPS, please indicate in additional instruction box when reserving a vehicle on the website.
Are all cars fitted with a device for connecting to electronic devices?
This varies based on BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours available rental fleet. Please inquire directly before placing a car rental booking with us.
Do you rent out infant or booster seats?
Yes. Available seats vary based on the child’s age and stature and are subject to availability. Please state your requirements when making a reservation. Renters are also free to use their own infant or booster seats. Users are requested to install the seats themselves. Although BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours staff members may assist, please make sure to perform the final check to ensure the seats have been properly installed.
Is smoking allowed inside my rented vehicle?
No, BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours vehicles are strictly non-smoking.
Can my pet ride in my rented vehicle?
Yes, please apply by telephone or online if you intend to travel with a pet. Make sure to mention that you will be traveling with a pet when making a reservation. BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours may refuse to rent out a vehicle, even if you have a reservation, if such details have not been disclosed to us upon booking, so please mention this in advance.
Is the rental fee inclusive of fuel?
For car rental(self-drive/with-driver), the rates are not inclusive of fuel. The car will be in full tank when given to you, you will then fill it in full upon returning. Client may also request for an all-in rate, inclusive of all expenses during the rental. For pick-up/drop-off, the rates are inclusive of fuel.
Do you allow car rental fleet for an inter-island travel?
No, BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours does not allow inter-island travels. All our vehicles are prohibited for such purposes.

What do I need to bring when picking up the car?
Each person who intends to drive must present valid Identification cards, a passport, driver’s license. This is to be submitted together with any discount cards you may have. full payment is required. you must also submit an item of identification (copies are acceptable) in addition to your driver’s license. Example: Health insurance card, residence card, passport, certificate of seal registration, etc.
How soon after getting your license can you rent a car?
There are no restrictions placed on the date of issuance of the driver’s license. It’s possible to rent a car as soon as one obtains a driver’s license, as long as the person is of appropriate age and meets BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours’s self-drive requirements.
Can I rent a car with an International driver’s license?
All expatriates are allowed to drive in the Philippines using their international licenses for three months upon arrival. Please make sure that your international driver’s license has a photo of yourself and that you also present your passport when you rent a vehicle.
If I forget to bring my driver’s license, can I still rent a car as long as I have reservation?
No. You may not rent a car if you do not show a valid driver’s license and ID’S/ and passport at the time of pick-up. Please make sure that you do not forget to bring the necessary documents on the day of pick-up, and that you meet our rental requirements.
How is the rental fee calculated?
The rental fee is determined by the vehicle’s model and the rental period’s length. If the user has requested additional options, accessories, compensation packages, or other services, the applicable costs will be added to the basic fee accordingly.

Should I just not bother to “reserve” rental cars anymore?
You can rent anytime as long as a vehicle is available in the station; however, we recommend making a reservation because no vehicle may be available during busy periods.
How many days in advance can a reservation be made?
Vehicles can be reserved as early as six months in advance. Reservations can also be made 30 minutes before pick-up depending on the availability of the car.
Will there be a problem if the person who made the reservation is different from the one who will drive the car?
No, persons who will not drive the car can also make the reservation; however, they need to confirm the driver of the vehicle before making the reservation with BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours.
Can I modify my reservation?
If you would like to modify your reservation, you must notify BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours at least two days before the rental date.
What happens if I cancel my car rental reservation?
Please contact BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your reservation. The reservation fee is non-refundable.

What are the procedures for picking up the car?
Present your driver’s license (of all drivers) and an additional two valid IDs for signing the Rental Agreement when you pick up the vehicle. Once completed, please pay the sum determined by the agreement’s contents. A short explanation of the vehicle will be provided, and the vehicle will be checked for existing scratches or other damages with the user. The rental car can be used as soon as these are completed.
What happens if I arrive late when picking up my booked vehicle?
Please make sure to contact the concerned station if you are going to arrive later than the specified pick-up time. Failure to contact BlueLine Laoag – Car Rental and Tours will result in the reservation being canceled an hour after the scheduled pick-up time. Additionally, the vehicle may not be available anymore at the time of pick-up if the station was not informed of the delay.
Can I return the car to a different branch or rental station?

Many rates, like weekend specials, are only available during certain time periods. Returning the car after or even before the designated time might affect the rate quoted. If I pick up a car on Tuesday at noon and return it Wednesday at 4 p.m., will I be charged for one day or two?

What do I need to keep in mind when returning the rental car?

What should I do if I damage the car?
If the customer causes an accident or defacement to the vehicle during the rental period, the user shall be required to pay the non-operation charge (NOC) as partial compensation for the loss of earnings incurred for repairs or cleaning, regardless of the degree of damage or the length of time required for repairs/cleaning. The non-operation charge (NOC) is different from the deductible (paid by the user) in the insurance and compensation system, which is applied in the event of accidents.
